Rotary Community Food Bank Drive
Continuing to help our neighbours, one meal at a time.
The Rotary Community Food Bank Drive has been a part of our community for over 30 years. We remain committed to ensuring food is available to everyone in our community. Please help support the 2022 Rotary Community Food Bank Drive!
Ways YOU can help.
On September 22, 2022 we will be going door to door to collect donations of non-perishable food and personal hygiene items. If you have items you would like to donate, have them ready and one of our local volunteers will be happy to pick them up.
-We need volunteers to go door-to-door and collect donations for the Food Bank.
What do we need to register a team?
- Visit www.gpfooddrive.ca and sign up your team of 4-6 people. Invite friends, your children, co-workers, church group, youth group, sports team, or community members at large!
- The teams provide their own transportation and are dispatched with collection boxes and bags as well as signage to identify themselves. The routes take an average of 2 hours to complete. When the route is covered, the team returns to the warehouse to unload the food and enjoy a barbeque.
-Watch your mailbox – mailers should arrive early September with times and ways to help.
-Sign up your team, donate online or BOTH!
Help Us Spread The Word
By taking a moment to share the message, you can help us get the word out. If each person shared the message with 10 contacts, who then shared with 10 contacts, we can fill the shelves and ensure that members of our community don’t go hungry.
Share, share, share!
- Visit us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/gpfooddrive . Like our page, share our posts, help us grow our online community.
Did we miss you on the 22nd? Donations can be brought to The Salvation Army Family Service Centre at 9615 - 102 street (back door please) between 9 AM and 4PM on weekdays.
Tax receipts are available and will automatically be issued for donations of $20 or more. All tax receipts are issued at the end of the campaign.
