Food Bank Drive Kick-Off Sponsorship

What, Why & Who?

The Rotary Food Bank Drive Kick-Off event is an important part of bringing awareness to the largest Food Bank Drive of it's kind. The Kick-off is a fun event where sponsors, for $300, purchase a grocery cart of food and become part of a team competition and involving the filling of a grocery cart with food while manipulating an obstacle course. Teams will consist of media, celebrities, students and sponsors (if they chose).

There will only be bragging rights for a prize with the real winner being the Salvation Army Food Bank as they will receive the filled carts at the end.

When?

The Kick-Off event occurs September 13th between 11:00 AM and 12:30 PM

Where?

The Kick-Off event will be held in the field house at the Eastlink Centre at 10 Knowlege Way, Grande Prairie.

How?

You and/or your business or organization can register as a sponsor on the web site: gpfooddrive.ca and go to 'Media Kick Off' for on line registration, or email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Payment can be made by cheque to: The Salvation Army Food Bank. A tax receipt can be issued.

FYI

Last year this event purchased over $9,000 of food for the Food Bank If you are unable to sponsor, we would welcome you as a volunteer or as a spectator.

Due to overwhelming response, we have had to close applications for volunteers.
